Volunteer court reporters are needed October 27th and October 28th in Fort Worth to record personal accounts of American wartime Veterans. The reporter will provide the Veterans’ oral histories in written transcript form to the U.S. Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
The mission of the Veterans History Project is to collect, preserve, and make accessible the personal accounts of American wartime Veterans so that future generations may hear directly from Veterans and better understand the realities of war.
From talking to a reporter who has already taken some of these interviews, if you have time to help with this cause, you will definitely be touched by this experience.
